Maimouna Youssef to be featured in DMV Storytellers Presented by The Capital City Showcase & The High Definition Society, Hosted by Herkules of WPGC 95.5 FM
(WASHINGTON, DC) - The first DMV Storytellers, presented by The Capital City Showcase and The High Definition Society will take place at 7 p.m. on Sunday, April 22 at Riot Comedy Theater (801 E Street NWm DC). This production is based on the concept of the popular VH1 Storytellers series in which artists share anecdotes about their lives in the recording industry and perform several tracks in an acoustic setting or with a live band. Maimouna Youssef Releases "I Got A Man" Video
"I Got A Man" was directed and edited by Brian "B. Kyle" Atkins of Gifted Films, Inc. and shot on location in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania & Washington, DC over the course of three days. The video approaches the song’s love triangle theme from a unique perspective showing Maimouna Youssef as an embattled independent music artist searching for a balance between the music business and her love for creating free honest music.
